Timber Development UK AGM | Register your interest now
The AGM is paired with a mini conference which will be a chance for members to gain insight into the programme of work being put into action by Timber Development UK in the build up to the completion of the merger at the end of Summer 2022.
Timber Development UK has been formed from the merger of two of the largest and longest established organisations in the supply chain, the Timber Trade Federation (TTF) and Timber Research and Development Association (TRADA).
All current members of TTF and TRADA are invited to the AGM, as they are all now members of Timber Development UK. Attendees of the AGM and mini conference will learn more about our mission to position timber as the first choice for any construction project in the UK, and as the best route to decarbonise the built environment.
This will include insights into our exciting programme of work to scale up our offerings for members along three main routes as we set out to:
- Connect the supply chain - By bringing together the largest supply chain body in the UK, spanning from sawmill to specifier, and all points in between.
- Lead best practice – By building the largest, most comprehensive online library of technical specification and design guidance for our members.
- Accelerate a low-carbon future – By creating the tools, training, and guidance to support the sustainable timber supply chain to lead as a net zero industry.
Speakers at the conference, in addition to a construction update from Professor Noble Francis, will hear from the partners who Timber Development UK is now working with to deliver on our greater ambitions across areas such as market data, education and sustainability.
This AGM and conference is restricted to Timber Development UK members (from both TTF and TRADA), and will take place in the RIBA Building at 66 Portland Place. Registration is now open via Eventbrite, with limited places available.
