Learn with TRADA Live is TRADA's new online learning programme exploring some of the biggest topics affecting the timber industry today.

Next session:

UKCA Marking: what will it mean for the timber industry?

What should importers, manufacturers and exporters be doing to prepare for the UK's equivalent of CE Marking in 2021 and beyond?

Session summary:

To some extent, this is somewhat dependent upon the outcome of the Brexit negotiations with the EU. However, enough is now known to begin making a plan. Hugh will talk us through these issues focusing on the major materials by volume in the sector: structural graded timber; timber based panels; some common finished products like LVL; and fasteners/connectors. Procedures governing Northern Ireland will also be covered.
