TRADA Technology frameCHECK is an independent timber frame consultancy service that uses its experience and knowledge to deliver practical and informative courses on timber frame construction.

There are four workshop options available:

• Timber frame: manufacture & erection
• Timber frame for all  - in a day

The workshops consider the following key areas:

• Why timber frame?
• Foundation interface
• External and internal walls
• Party walls
• Intermediate and party floor joist/cassettes
• Manufacturing and erection
• Line and plumb of wall panels
• Ancillary components
• Disproportionate collapse
• Approved Document E, L1 and B
• Plasterboard installation
• Roof construction
• Differential movement and cladding

Each one day workshop will focus on your organisation's particular discipline to broaden your knowledge and practical skills.

Cost - £1595 + VAT for a one day in-house workshop.

The cost includes: preparation, hire of presentation equipment, delegate packs, a copy of TRADA's Timber Frame Construction manual, but excludes any catering, venue costs and trainer's expenses.
