TRADA has an international reputation as a training provider for construction industry professionals. Our expertise covers every aspect of timber's properties and uses in construction, including new products and the latest innovations.
Working with Wood for Good in partnership with the Forestry Commission, TRADA is offering a fresh new package of CPD seminars, to be held at architectural and engineering practices around the UK, tailored to the needs of architects, engineers and other industry professionals.
Reflecting the growing trend towards sustainable development, the talks will touch on timber's environmental credentials and achieving Code for Sustainable Homes ratings. The use of UK grown timber will also be a feature of the seminars, allowing specifiers to make informed decisions about the suitability of locally sourced material.
These one hour seminars are FREE of charge and are supported by wood for good. To take part as a practice you need to provide a suitable conference room and a minimum of 14 delegates. For smaller practices we suggest joining forces with other practices in your area - we can assist you with details if necessary.
These seminars will also be supported by:
CPD ‘surgeries' of up to 30 minutes, giving delegates the opportunity to submit technical questions for discussion after the CPD event
