Duration
Start Date: September 2000
Finish Date: October 2002
Background
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are recognised as powerful tools to enable organisations to measure critical business performance against like organisations and to create industry standards. KPIs will enable Chief Executive Officers of timber companies to have a greater understanding of their performance against key business issues driving the supply chain, encouraging action to improve.
Project Aim

To identify a set of Key Performance Indicators for the timber – construction supply chain and to collect, collate and analyse data with the KPIs for dissemination to the industry.

The Timber KPIs are best practice tools for improving industry. They will be developed alongside the Movement for Innovation (M4I) pan-construction indicators and will be made available to other initiatives such as the Construction Best Practice Programme and Construction Productivity Network.
