Project aims

To provide specialist support to enable the establishment of a wood use centre in Honduras

• Honduras (San Pedro Sula)

Activities

• Liaison with counterparts to finalise design
• Preparation of bills of quantities
• Drafting of tender documents
• Monitoring and advising during all stages of construction
• Advising on establishment of testing facilities (as an extension to the project)

Outputs

• Development of preliminary designs for the buildings of the centre, including workshops, laboratories and an administration block
• Preparation of detailed designs for the buildings based on the use of local timbers
• Production of contract drawings for all buildings
