To comment on the draft NRI bulletin on the manufacture of woodwool/ cement slabs in developing countries, and to provide relevant technical advice

  • Comment on the draft NRI bulletin with respect to the properties and application of woodwool/cement slabs, the basic house design for Zambia and general technical content
  • Advise on technical requirements of overseas building regulations and codes of practice and how they may affect the potential use of woodwool/cement slabs
  • Undertake associated visits to Ghana and Nigeria
  • Advise on possible product performance improvements
  • Advise on appropriate building designs, structures and construction methods using woodwool/cement slabs for lower-cost housing applications in developing countries
