‘Fit for Business’ is designed to help you tackle the large amount of legislation on environmental and health and safety issues.
The scheme has been assisting companies in the wood processing and furniture sectors for over a decade, originally under the banner of 'Club Green'. We have recently added a 'health and safety scheme' – Club 18001 (after the H&S management standard, OHSAS 18001) and are now offering both under the banner of 'Fit for Business'.
The Fit for Business packages provide members with:
- A summary of the legal requirements with which they need to comply
- Regular regional forums and meetings
- Assistance with working towards certification against standards such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
- Newsletters
- Telephone advice
