With over 30 years’ experience of fire research, Chiltern Fire's (TRADA Technology's sister company) engineers pride themselves in understanding the critical issues and then developing a series of investigations and tests to arrive at the best solution for the customer.

- Demonstrating that products which work in a fire test laboratory also work in reality
- Quantifying the effectiveness of different fire fighting suppression techniques
- Developing training aids for teaching fire fighters about fire behaviour
- Quantifying the escape times for a building’s occupants in the event of a fire
