The full programme for the TRADA seminars at Interbuild is now online. All the talks will take place in the TRADA seminar theatre within the Timber Zone at this year's show, which takes place at Birmingham's NEC from 26th - 30th October 2008.
Topics include: Airtightness testing for Part L, A specifiers guide to certified timber, Code for sustainable homes explained, Conservation & restoration of wood in historical buildings, Contemporary wood buildings, Innovations in wood - wood modifications, Plywood CE Marking and its implications, Site-waste Management plans, Timber Frame for school buildings and Wood products for structural use.
The rolling programme will be delivered by TRADA experts over the five days of the show. Each individual talk will take around 30 minutes, followed by a short question & answer sessions. In addition, guest speaker Andrew Parker, Commercial Director of Carpenter Oak & Woodland, will give a seminar entitled ‘Building in Oak Frame' on Monday 27th October at 10.30am and on Wednesday 29th October at 12.30pm.
