TRADA further expands FAQ area of website
Following member demand TRADA has added three new topics to the popular ‘Frequently Asked Questions' (FAQ's) area of the website - timber decking, sustainability/recycling and timber flooring. Topics already included visual strength grading and cladding.
The FAQ area, added last year, has attracted a steady flow of visitors, said Head of Marketing and Information Services Jeremy Vibert. ‘As information providers, we appreciate that busy people often need more of a snapshot than a detailed briefing. Users have found the FAQ approach very useful and we are pleased to respond to demand for this type of information with these additional topics.'
Through its telephone advisory service, TRADA handles around 6,000 enquiries a year. ‘By directing a large proportion of these enquiries to the FAQ area on the website, we will be able to handle more enquiries by telephone, which is another huge benefit for members, ‘Mr Vibert added.
The TRADA website contains a wealth of more detailed information on all topics and the TRADA Technology team of technical consultants will be able to provide more in depth assistance with specific questions.
