Green Register workshop promotes sustainable construction
Sustainable Construction û A practical workshop Westminster University, London 12 July 2005
The Green Register (TGR) is staging a new workshop on 12July at Westminster University, London, aimed at builders, Building Control officers and other construction professionals to promote the practical aspects of sustainable construction.
With the new Part L revisions expected to come into force in a few months’ time, plus the introduction of legislation such as The Sustainable and Secure Buildings Act, it will be more important than ever for builders and others to understand aspects of construction such as airtightness and robust detailing. Increasingly, clients, too, will require a sound knowledge of these subjects.
Participants in the Green Register Sustainable Construction - A practical workshop will be able to steal a march on competitors by gaining information on sustainable construction practices. The workshop is scheduled for an extended afternoon, so that those working on site will not have to take a full day out of work.
Cost:
TGR members - £70 (+ VAT)
non-TGR members - £100 (+ VAT)
Attendance at this workshop can count towards full TGR membership.
