Direct access to TRADA website via members’ Intranet
TRADA has further enhanced membership benefits by introducing a facility to set up direct links to its website from member companies' Intranet systems. This removes the need for logins and passwords.
According to Head of Marketing and Information Services Jeremy Vibert, the new facility is straightforward to set up and involves adding a simple HTML link on the home page of the member's Intranet. TRADA's IT support team can assist with this.
‘All staff within member companies may access the TRADA website, but although the logins and passwords issued can be changed by the individuals concerned to make them easier to remember and use, it is far more convenient for staff to be able to click on their own Intranet for direct access to TRADA technical information.'
TRADA has been discussing this option with members for some months and has reviewed various options. ‘We believe we have come up with a simple solution in response to member needs,' Mr Vibert added. ‘Quick access to TRADA information will be invaluable for both sales and technical staff and ensures that companies make the very most of their TRADA membership.'
