BM TRADA/TTF seminar: CE marking and plywood
 Plywood CE marking and its implications is the title of the joint BM TRADA and Timber Trade Federation (TTF) seminar to explain the requirements for structural grade plywood. The event will now take place at the Institute of Directors in London on 3 rd September 2008, from 2.00 - 4.00pm.
The speakers will be Mark Wilkinson, Business Development Manager of BM TRADA and Nick Boulton, Head of technical and trade policy at the TTF. Their presentations will cover:

The process
The roles of a manufacturer and notified body
The issues to date
What should importers and buyers be looking and asking for?
What is the solution?
Q&A followed by open discussion
The cost will be £30.00 + VAT for TRADA and TTF members, £40.00 + VAT for non-members. Places are limited so early booking is advised.
Nick Boulton said: ‘This Seminar is essential to help buyers, sellers and end users understand what evidence is needed to support the claims they are automatically making when selling CE marked plywood.'
