Latest TRADA Review available on website
The TRADA Review for 2007 - 2008 may now be accessed on the website. TRADA has fulfilled its objectives of making strategic investments in new areas of activity that are of significant importance to TRADA members and to the promotion of timber in construction, according to Chairman Richard Burbidge OBE.
The website has been continually revised and updated in response to market need. Major enhancements included the development of the case studies area, the introduction of an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section, the continued supply of additional content to the Regulations and Codes area and the Suppliers Directory. Design enhancements contributed to the overall look and usability of the website itself.
None of the many achievements, said Mr Burbidge, could have been achieved ‘without the dedication and support of colleagues and I would like to record my thanks to all members of the TRADA Board for their enthusiasm and hard work during the past year. In particular I should like to make special mention of Tony Hutchison who retired from the Board in March, and to welcome David Laver, Chairman, Arnold Laver & Co Ltd, who joined the Board, also in March. Simon Fineman, Chief Executive, Timbmet Ltd, was appointed Vice-Chairman in June 2007.
Finally, thanks are also due to Andrew Abbott and all the team at TRADA Technology. Their wealth of knowledge and expertise is vital to maintain TRADA's strong market position.'
