Timber frame training addresses new performance demands
New regulations and codes are demanding ever higher building performance. As the construction market struggles back onto its feet, says frameCHECKü, TRADA Technology's on site trouble-shooting and consultancy arm, training is an important tool in delivering more efficient buildings to avoid costly mistakes.
frameCHECK is offering a comprehensive timber frame training programme in 2010 to meet the needs of those involved from design and build to erection and site control. Courses will cover a range of practical topics, including how the timber frame industry operates, best practice detailing and construction methods, how to avoid common mistakes and how timber frame can meet and exceed statutory requirements. Delegates will have the opportunity to raise specific technical questions with timber frame experts and to discuss future developments in timber frame construction.
