TRADA and FIRA members save 10% on British Standards now updated in the bookshop
Keeping up with the latest standards, changes and amendments can be a complicated and time-consuming exercise. The TRADA Bookshop aims to make this easier for our customers with a range of services to suit your requirements, plus keeping the latest information available to you online. We have now completely updated all of the standards listed on the website with the latest information and prices, and will continue to do so on a monthly basis. If you cannot find the standard you require, simply contact the Bookshop () and we will happily add this to the website.
New standard list added
Expanding the British Standards available, the TRADA Bookshop has added over 200 standards relating to the furniture industry in connection with our sister company Furniture Industry Research Association (FIRA). We have ensured this list is up to date with the latest editions and amendments, indicating where necessary if changes have been made. Both TRADA and FIRA members receive a 10% discount on all British Standards.
Standards updating service
Tracking changes in standards can be complicated and time-consuming. Why not let us take the load off you by subscribing to our automatic monthly standards checking and updating service? The process is simple. You provide us with a list of the British and International Standards you hold, from which we produce an initial bespoke report showing the latest published version. Thereafter we will monitor the status and write to you monthly advising whether (or not) there have been any changes. There is no obligation to buy an update, but if you wish to do so you can order through us, with TRADA members receiving a 10% discount.

Updated list of British Standards relating to timber
We regularly monitor over 1000 standards relating to the timber construction and furniture industries for TRADA members. This is published on the TRADA website every two months, showing the entire list with the latest changes highlighted where standards have been amended, withdrawn, superseded or changed in any way.
