Andrew Waugh of Waugh Thistleton Architects, designers of the innovative Murray Grove town house, will speak on ‘Using cross-laminated timber to break new ground'. Fellow speakers include Niall McLaughlin (Niall McLaughlin Architects) with Tim Lucas (Price & Myers) on the Structural Wood Award-winning Deal Pier & Cafe Bar and Paul Fast (Fast and Epp Engineers), giving an insight into the Wood Wave roof system of the Richmond Oval. In addition, architectural author and journalist Ruth Slavid will select favourite refurbishment case studies from a forthcoming TRADA publication.
