New Wood Information Sheet from TRADA
Trada Technology has recently published a new Wood Information sheet: Care of Timber and Wood Based Products on Building Sites .
Timber is one of the most common materials used on building sites but is often the least respected. Bad handling and poorly organised storage are often the major causes of damage and wastage, which can be in the order of 10% and sometimes as high as 20%. Good, well organised site storage practice, which follows relevant Health and Safety guidelines, will help to minimise these risks
