Christmas wish list: free postage on all book orders
 With Christmas just around the corner, TRADA is offering free postage on all book orders in the UK placed by 30 th November 2009.The anniversary publication Timber in contemporary architecture - a designer's guide is likely to appear on several wish lists following inclusion in the book columns of publications like Grand Designs.
Timber in contemporary architecture - a designer's guide was commissioned by TRADA to celebrate this its 75th anniversary year. Written by leading experts in timber architecture and engineering Peter Ross, Giles Downes and Andrew Lawrence, the beautifully illustrated book is a celebration of timber and its contemporary uses, combining sound technical expertise with inspirational concepts. It includes more than 300 photographs and drawings, the perfect stocking filler.
Cost is £40.00 to members and £55.00 to non-members - but no postage to pay if ordered before the end of the month.
