Members will host ‘TRADA in the Regions' events this year, starting with White Design in Bristol on 6th July. A further event is planned in Manchester on 28th September, hosted by Building Design Partnership.
The July venue, the Knowle West Media Centre, will be the subject of a case study presentation by Craig White, Director of White Design and a TRADA Board member. There will also be a talk before dinner by Rupert Scott, TRADA Membership & Marketing Manager, to give an update on TRADA activities and to seek feedback on future ideas. Mr Scott will also speak after dinner on building regulations changes, centring on Part L, revisions to which will take effect from 1st October 2010.
A similar programme will be offered In Manchester, where Stephen Charles (Architect Associate Director) and Mark Doyle (Civil & Structural Associate) of Building Design Partnership will present a case study on the Caroline Chisholm Primary School extension.
