TRADA is running a one-day CPD seminar designed to inspire construction industry professionals to make the most of timber, both structurally and aesthetically.
This year's theme will centre on the Olympics and the opportunities for timber construction in the build up to 2012. Speakers will address the issues raised by developing the sports facilities and supporting infrastructure that the Games will require, yet creating a legacy that the local community and the nation as a whole can enjoy for years to come.

After lunch Lord David Clark and two Members of Parliament will host a 30 minute question and answer session to allow delegates to ask quetsions relating to the Olympics.
The event will also include an exhibition showcasing timber and timber-based building products and services.
