 MOOARC has developed an increasingly diverse portfolio of both private and public architectural work in both the UK and across the Channel Islands. It has focused a great deal of energy on the contemporary home and its role within today’s culture and society. A majority of the work within the office today consists of New Build Private Houses, which continue to evolve in their architectural and environmental responsiveness, building on the aspirations and attitude of the Case Study House. One of these projects, La Concha was awarded an RIBA Award 2004 and shortlisted for the RIBA Manser Medal – Building of the Year 2004 and the Stephen Lawrence Prize. This year we were Category Winner in the RIBA 2010 Downland Prize and Winner of Best Architecture (Single Unit) in the 2010 UK Property Awards for Le Foin Bas.
