Local Woodshop is a small company situated on the West Somerset coast at the foot of the Exmoor National Park.
We specialise in kiln dried English/British grown Western Red Cedar and Larch sold sawn or profiled into cladding and flooring with locally sourced wood from our regional woodlands. Most timber is sourced within 30 miles.
Our Sawmill is situated in one of the best timber growing areas of the South West (East Exmoor) and provides air dried stock ready for kilning.
Our wood is dried on site to provide a continuous supply ready for the workshop.
We also stress grade softwood to BS4978, where required, with our waste being recovered to make briquettes.
