Description

Better acoustic performance is a key target for Safety and Health in all buildings. This research showed how significant improvements could be made over current Building Regulation requirements. The report includes detail designs, specifications and test results for 11 floors which met an 'Enhanced' target level and 6 floors which met 'Enhanced +' level. The 'standard' design of timber frame party wall easily met the 'Enhanced +' target without modification.
