Description

This information sheet, intended for designers, specifiers and manufacturers, covers the behaviour of wood-based panel products such as plywood, particle boards and fibre boards, in addition to timber. The behaviour of wood-based panel products and timber exposed to fire conditions is considered using the main phases of fire development.

Regulations relating to fire during the construction of a building are not specifically covered by this sheet, although the fire itself will still follow the same main phases of fire development.
